Upcoming OFA Eye Clinics

Adam King, DVM, MS, DACVO, is a longtime Havanese breeder and dog show participant both as an owner/handler and judge. He is the past chair of the Genetics Committee for the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists and sits on the Havanese Club of America Health Committee and Judges Education Committee. Dr. King also offers regular education opportunities for AKC breeders who wish to know more about canine eye-health challenges.

For regular and on-going ophthalmic care for your animal please visit Dr. King at MedVet Chicago.

With the recent mass cancellations of dog shows, I know many health clinics have been cancelled as well. Several people have asked if clinics I was participating in will be rescheduled, but there is so much unknown at this time that I truly don't know.

I am open to seeing a small number of dogs for OFA CAER exams at my house in Elburn, IL in the meantime on my day's off (taking appropriate safety cautions of course). In addition, I am open to traveling within a reasonable distance if a breeder or a group of people can organize 30 or more dogs to do at one time.
